Hans Heinrich Müller (1879-1951) designed fourteen electric transformer stations in Berlin. In 1926 he created Humboldt, inspired by the Gothic brick style of northern Germany and the antique buildings of Persia. 
Brick, the symbol of workmanship, represents symmetry and balance as eloquently displayed by Humboldt.
